Image Color Palette Extractor
You have a photo — a sunset, a product shot, a piece of art — and you want the colours in it. The Image Extractor reads the pixels right in your browser and pulls out a clean, dominant palette, with four algorithms to suit different images.
How to use it
- Drop in or upload any image — it never leaves your device.
- Choose an algorithm (K-Means, Median Cut, Vibrant or Hue-Peak) and set how many colours you want.
- Paint over a region to focus the extraction on just that part of the image.
- Open the result in the editor to refine it, or export as CSS, Figma tokens or ASE.
Good to know
- Each algorithm has a personality: Vibrant favours punchy colours, Median Cut is even-handed — try a couple.
- Painting a region is the fastest way to grab, say, just the sky or just a logo.
