Color Harmonies

The classic question: what colours go with this one? Harmonies takes any base colour and shows the schemes colour theory is built on — complementary, triadic, analogous and more — so you can build a balanced palette around a single starting point.

How to use it

  1. Set your base colour.
  2. Choose a scheme: complementary, split-complementary, triadic, analogous, tetradic or square.
  3. Click any swatch to copy its value.
  4. Open a suggested palette in the editor with View & edit, or download it as an image.

Good to know

  • Complementary pairs are high-energy; analogous schemes are calm and cohesive — pick by the mood you want.
  • The colour wheel makes it easy to see why a scheme works, not just that it does.
